I know what you mean. My competition (one of four books) used fiction to dress up his novel about true crime. He admitted it was fabrication so that he could sell books. The truth be damned. Unfortunately, his is the bestseller.

You're only a few who do. I can't believe some of the garbage that people believe because they saw it on TV. Just wait until they say they saw it on YouTube first. But I've found more credible stuff on YouTube than on TV.

This video is how I could promote my books. Let me ask, are the journalists pseudo because of their sensationalism? Or are they pseudo because they misrepresent the truth? Other than that, I know what you mean, I see it every day on TV. It really frustrates the hell out of me.

I think they misrepresent the truth on purpose in order to capture the attention of an audience. Some inaccuracy might be due to shoddy journalism, but most of it is cynical manipulation.

It is funny how you here the cable (news) channels brag about ratings (during broadcast) it so silly. News is supposed to be the reporting of facts. Not the style of presentation. worst is how many of my fellow Americans fall for the bull !!

I never take anything I hear from any news source at face value... I have become increasingly skeptical and cynical with age!
