Assia was a characterless woman..not worthy of any sympathy! Not a good wife, not a good mother..shameless woman who capitalized on her so-called beauty immorally.

the exact words might not, but, given a basic understanding of the English language, the emotion and tone of some of Plath's poems comprise the very definition of Greek tragedy.

Does Plaths poetry translate well into Greek? I cant see how, as its so onomaetopeoic..like 'creel of eels' etc...just wondered

it's not the same as the birth language of each poem.You can't adapt easily some words or expressions.Always poems are better to read in their language
