@Maskas1104 There is always a clutch (even in automatic trans...)... The GTR runs 2... But you are right semi will always be faster than Stick....

@Maskas1104 the argument was manual vs automatic, not semi automatic verses automatic. There is no way a manual transmission with a stick and clutch can ever be as fast as semi automatic (paddle shift) or dual clutch transmission.

@seanymo well, race drivers use a semi-automatic system which requires no clutch, just the flick of the paddles. so, yes semi-automatic gearing can be as fast
