What is a texel? Is this like a long hair rex? It looks nothing like an abyssinian. I don't know if they have them in Australia, I haven't bread Cavies since I was a kid. I used to be a judge, but that was a long time ago haha. Blessings FLETCHER

I believe to creat your own texel, you breed a rex with a silky guinea pig. It's like for alpacas, you breed rex to peruvians. Makes me wonder if a teddy/silky combo would work! Hmm! Ideas!
If i was to start any project though, it would be himilayan abyssinians or himilayan texels(which would be a MAJOR grooming pain, imagine cleaning white fur, on top of the curly hair)
