The Atlanta BeltLine: A Vision of Redevelopment

Inspired by Paris's sophisticated transit system, Ryan Gravel's masters thesis described a plan where Atlanta could reclaim a 22-mile corridor of abandoned railroad tracks and right of way that encircled the core city. The idea would include transit for redeveloped areas - inviting people to move back into the city. This 2005 master planning effort focused on how communities in four quadrants of the city could redevelop and revitalize their communities.
