This movie is terrifying and actually has a plot that is meaningful and has a lesson about karma in it. This movie should be rated the #1 horror film of the 20th century.

One of the most amazing horror films ever made.
This film is the essence of horror. Doesn't need CGI effects, doesn't need nudity, sex, or loud mouthed teens. It's not remade, or rehashed.
It's a story. The soundtrack is amazing! The setting, the atmosphere, the climax. EVERYTHING about it is horror.
It's one of the most underrated horror films in history. John Carpenter is a genius

Ahh, the 80's. The decade when horror truly reigned supreme both at the box office and at the video stores (which are sadly going the way of vhs as we speak). Then the 90s came along and ruined everything.
