one great thing about downey he sticks up for his teammates. thats why he fights. plus i got to meet him at a season ticket holder only autograph session. he has all respect and gratitude for his fans.

What would prevent the Red Wings from keeping Downey or McCarty on the roster, or just signing a thug on skates? Nothing.

They were booing because the linesmen were going to break up the fight, untill Downey told them not to. Linesmen backed off, they began cheering again.
