@yobhsiFehT Yeah i have heard a few things about that, And yeah i totally agree, i have just bought a studio yesterday! Ebony with gold hardware, i love it! Nice playing anyways :)

Well, like I said, that little factoid was just off the top of my head (and specifically pertaining to the faded finishes, not the lacquered Studios), but yeah, it would be pretty funny if Gibson screwed up - certainly wouldn't be the first time from what I've heard about their quality control:P lol

Nope, pretty sure it's a carved mahogany top, actually - just off the top of my head...
