Melissa: *starts to back up* Hi
Creepy old man: It's okay don't be afraid, Melissa.
Melissa: How do you know my name?
- Kale walks up-
Kale: Michael is the leader of our legacy.
Michael: Kale I'll explain the situation, you need to finish packing.
Melissa: What situation?
Michael: Have you been in contact with 2 girls named Libby and Ashley?
Melissa: Yeah, Libby was my room-mate ... Kale said something about her being bad.
Michael: Well every couple decades a new generation of their kind is brought up to try to change the future of all vampires, back to the oringinal way.
Melissa: So basically they are trying to...?
Michael: .. Kill us, Well atleast for the next couple decades.
Melissa: What does that mean, I thought we were immortal.
Michael: We are and we arent. If a vampire is killed the body will remain dead but the soul will live on until it's reborn into another body.
Melissa: If the soul lives then why don't we remember our other lives instantly?
Michael: Some do some don't. This is one of the hardest challenges, Elizabeth and Anne-Marie remember everything about their past lives, and you remember nothing.
Melissa: Elizabeth and Anne-Marie? Wait I did remember the old memory with Libby.
Michael: Libby and Ashley's oringinal names are Elizabeth and Anne-Marie, The "memory" you saw was fake.. Libby used a charm to get you to see that.
Melissa: So I don't know anything about my past lives.
- Kale shouts from another room : Maybe it's because she's half human-
Melissa: Half human?!?
Michael: *starts to look around after hearing creeks* We have to leave now, Kale is everything packed.
Kale: Yeah *grabs Melissa's arm* Come on.
Melissa: Where are we going?
Michael: Where you'll be safe. *Opens a hatch on the floor then drops in*
- Melissa and Kale drop into the dark tunnel below-
Melissa: *looks around* Why are we in a tunnel exactly? A car works just as well you know.
Kale: * lights a small torch he was carrying in his sack* They know you know about everything now, If you left the library and walked outside.. lets just say you would have no chance.
Melissa: against whom?
Kale: Anyone, Libby's legacy has a bunch of spies.
- After walking a couple hours in the tunnel-
Melissa: Ugh how long is this tunnel?
Michael: About 10-15 miles.
Melissa: *sighs* Are we gonna walk the whole time?
Kale: *smiles* Yepp.
Michael: If you are feeling weak there are some rats.
Melissa: What am I supposed to do with them?
Kale: You know *does dracula voice* suck their blood, muahaha! *starts laughing*
Melissa: : *stops laughing* No really.
Michael: : I'll show you *grabs a huge rat* Remember we don't want to kill the poor fellow, so put your finger somewhere you can feel the pulse. Lightly bite them at an angle for less pain, then drink until the pulse begins to slow down. Then stop. * bites the rat lightly and drinks, then kisses the area where he bit on the rat*
Melissa: *looks at the rat in amazement* Wow there aren't even any bite marks.. how?
Michael: We have healing lips, now it's your turn.
Melissa: *picks up a smaller rat* *starts to bring the rat close to her mouth* No I can't do it.
Kale: God your such a girl *takes rat from her and lightly bites it* Open your mouth.
Melissa: *opens her mouth and shuts her eyes*
Kale: *lets the rats blood drip into Melissa's mouth, then kisses the bite and puts the rat on the ground where it runs away*
Melissa: *swallows the mouthful of rat blood* That was.. interesting.
- the sound of loud footsteps comes from above, then it's silent-
Melissa: *whispers* What was that...?
- Then a part of the ceiling breaks and a dark figure grabs Kale-
