  • oh mr abnett, i'm very disappointed in you. you had the potential of making a revolutionary work of art piece of movie, and you make it low budget.

  • FOR THE EMPEROR!!!

  • @akira357 You should know that GW didn't give a penny to Codex Pictures (who had to fund it themselves) so the graphic quality is better than I had hoped (not that I care in the slightest about graphics). All GW did was give them permission so if there was any justice Codex would be getting more of the profits (if not all). As for the faces of the older Marines there are only 3 old guys and they're pobably gonna be the best actors (considering I haven't heard of any of the younger ones).

  • @theBoonarmies Hadn't heard of Sean Pertwee before this but his dad Jon was the 3rd actor of Dr Who back in the 70s. Haven't seen much of that though considering I was born over 30 years later lol

  • @koviack True some are old but they are VERY good actors. I had vaguely heard of Donald Sumpter (the Ultramarines Apothecary) and Terrence Stamp (the Captain). John Hurt on the other hand who plays an Imperial Fists Chaplain I have definitely heard of. Hurt was in the original Alien (the first victim of a chest-burster, ever), he's in the Harry Potter movies as Olivander the wand-maker, he was in an old TV show called I-Claudius as Caligula. And as if that weren't good enough his voice is EPIC!

  • do more eisenhorn/ravenor stuff, abnett!

  • @Cerberus221 It is rated R in the US and Canada.

  • @akira357 they made the movie in less than a year, as a proof of concept (a test). stop complaining, pre-order it, support the makers. and wait for the next, better one. simple.

  • @akira357 lol haveyou seen how old the actors they're using are? one of them was born in the 30s... 1930s

  • Even if the grapic of the ultramarines movie is not so good, the fact this guy is the lead scenarist of the movie is the only reason i will watch this movie....seriously.
