Nissan's "Drive Electric Tour" in Austin, Texas December 18, 2010 at The Domain Shopping Mall

The all electric 2011 Nissan Leaf was smooth, quite and pollution free with no tail pipe. The tour included a 20 min presentation of the battery, charging, benefits, connectivity and electric range management.

A full hands-on, get to know the Leaf, and Nissan's commitment to electric propulsion. Then a ride and drive of about 2 miles though a small close road course. a hard acceleration on the service road of the highway and a drive around the mall parking lot.

How many miles do you drive a day? 40 or 50?
The Leaf has a range between 70 and 110 miles, which is twice of what the average driver needs for their daily commute. All done gas free.
