Exactly. And Megadeth took their more progressive style, and brought to another extreme.
Though Dave is more of a signer than Hetfield. That's what is "different" about Megadeth.

YOU said *of course they (metallica) do(sound like Diamondhead* because they covered a "Am I Evil".
I pointed out, with the Hendrix/Dylan metaphor, that covering someone else's music does NOT automatically assume that you sound like that original artist.
That WAS your implication, as indicated by the use of the phrase "of course".
