I watched that race when it was televised on UK TV. Loved the TWR Jags, Loved the JPS 635 CSi's and had a like for the underdog Volvo. :-)

@Woodlings2 yeah... but the Volvo without the turbo is gutless, hence the straight line speed over the BMW

I got my own 240GL from 91 with the b200F engine in it. I got a spare B21ET going in to the car, as soon as i have rebuild the body and front (mainly rust)

Aiming at around 180-210 bhp.

I already reworked the brakes (from a 940Turbo) and Bilstein racing shocks. I dont want to lower it, because it will be used on public roads, but I am stiffing up the suspension a little, with two extra bars and better brushes

volvos boys are ugly boxes of shit...u think that car as anything on a e24 6er pffft ...ur talking about one of the most iconic bmw ever ...but i have to agree that turbo unleashed on the six and yea the 6er is heavy cause the panels are the same thickness as a panzersss ahahah
