thomas jane was a HORRIBLE punisher. the movie was boring. THIS movie KICKED SO MUCH ASS and was a great comic book film. the action was amazing. almost no plot, and thats what i love! JUST A MOVIE ABOUT KICKING ASS and bein able to feel awesome while watchin it.

I always thought it was funny how the news media called it senseless violence. Lol, I guess they never read the comic. Too bad they picked a shitty time to release it. Right before Christmas...if they would have waited for summer, it would have done good.

They all had good moments....but i think the 2008 was the closest to the comic book. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

man this trailer was so good when i saw it, way better than the film.
this guy was the best punisher since lundgren. but the movie was cheap as hell.

I seen this one in the theaters TWICE, and own in DVD. It was a phenomenal movie, in every single gory detailed reason. I was SO pumped that this was so violent, and Frank took NO prisoners...As he shouldnt.

you people can hate on me all you want but personally I loved all three punisher movies each one has something that makes them enjoyable for me. for example 1989 had a huge body count, 2004 had an emotional dramatic side to it, and finally 2008 had the blood and gore plus sadistic moments so all of them are good.

@godzillawashere I'd have to agree with ya. I enjoy all 3 for what they are. Here's hoping they do an adaptation of the Punisher: The Tyger mixed with Punisher: Born. That movie could win oscars if done right. Maybe down the line they could make a horror-comedy style Frankencastle movie, ala the evil dead, which could be a lot of fun, granted if done right again.
