It's amazing the things you see and do during a career, and yet the horrific scenes, traggic events, childern screaming in pain or asking to please save their Mommy or Daddy, All the death & destruction. The exceptionally long hours worked, where sleep depravation is all to common; And yet PARAMEDIC's most always goes unrecognised or forgotten. But we are the PARAMEDIC's that are still here doing it day after day after day!!!

  • Appreciate the comments. 2:29 was a tragic event that left a person feeling that suicide by train was his only answer and is not ment to be depicted as harsh or disrespectful in any way, shape or form. Unfortunately its the reality of the things that we, as EMS Providers, deal with both physically and emotionally on a day to day basis.

  • 2 people have never had to call 911

  • I dont do this job for the glory I do it cause it a calling for me. I love helping ppl in there time of need.

  • You should do your job because of your knowledge, skillset, ability and the fact you are able to do that job and you love it, you shouldnt do a job looking at it for recognition or what benefit you will receive from it. If you do you may need to consider a different occupation. You are not "JUST" medical providers, you are my fellow brothers and sisters.

  • That was a good photo to end it with

  • Awesome Video. I have been in E.M.S for 17 years. I have always Said,

    "It's Just What we do".

Thumbs Up to ALL of you that Risk Your Lives to Help Others. Stay Safe. God Bless.

  • Hey man. Great video. Helping others, helping yourself, getting credit or just the satisfaction.. the ladies. We all have our reasons why we want a job that involves meeting hurt people every day. I'm not even sure why I like it, but I do.

    Thanks for the video.

  • @supersurferdude36 how do you like the shower of praise and glory every sept 11th? i can assure you that we medics dont get that kind of recognition. I respect my FF's on my shift, but you guys are basically retired on active duty.
