@TheAlabamajane I don't think you have anything to be upset about here. These guys sure seem to respect the hell out of the man. I guess you're referring to the references to mental illness? Either way, that's not really what's important, what is important is that Eddie Hinton made great music. You should be, and almost definitely are, immensely proud of him.

EMAIL ME FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT EDDIE, I am tired of all this BS stuff, I was his first cousin and knew him as no other, he did Sha na na with the London Strings in London with Jim Coleman. All those muscle shoals guys gave up on Eddie, that was his downfall. email me anytime for the truth, it is time the truth is out there.
