@MATANUI720 Not yet, since 4.0 is only on the Galaxy Nexus. I really doubt that the original Desire will get the 4.0 update. Desire S and Desire HD will probably get the update.

@GScorch Are you crazy? This, of course! I had a HTC Desire and my cousin has an Ace, and the Desire is SO MUCH BETTER! (now i have a GALAXY S2 xD)

@wbadude Samsung Galaxy S is a better multimedia and gaming phone, but i had a desire and as a phone the Desire is better. (Build quality is also MUCH better) But you should buy Desire S (is a much powerfull Desire with unibody metal build)

Hello I am wanting an android and my new contract starts next month. This phone seems very good and I can get it for £20 a month - comes with 300 minutes, 5000 texts and 500mb of internet. seems a very good deal and seems a good phone. Would you recommend it? Has it got any bad points?

Also, I was looking at the samsung galaxy s, which would be better? htc or samsung? thanks
