I remember saying/repeating "That's not nice" "You're mocking me"  after Dr. Hyles said that. We always looked forward to seeing our Preacher at chapel time.

From someone that has been a student at HAC for four years before Prearcher passed-I can understand why some people would say that we "worshiped" our "Preacher" since it LOOKED or SEEMED like we worshiped him, and not God. We did not worship Dr. Hyles-we loved him due to who he was. A man after God's own heart. Kama-you have it right. We are encouraging our pastor.

I swear the students's reaction to Jack Hyles is 99% the same as the ''Price Is Right'' audience's reaction to Bob Barker!!! Good Greif! To treat their preacher like BOB BARKER?!?!?!?!! My goodness the only diffrence here is the crowd is waving bibles in the air while screaming and applauding plus no 'announcer to announce Hyles's entrance plus organ music playing in the background instead of ''The Price Is Right'' theme. Other than that, this LOOKS so simular to the opening of 'Price is Right'!
