New neighbors running the stop sign

This is a video of four of my new neighbors running the stop sign in front of my house in West Deer Township, Pennsylvania. The neighborhood has really gone downhill since the early 90's. I see this every day from my bedroom window.

Neighbor # 1 has lived here less than five years. I asked her husband to tell her to stop and he said "She's in a hurry to get to work, I'll tell her to stop." The next morning she went through the sign even faster than what you see @ 0:02 without using her brakes and continues to go though the stop sign without stopping.

Neighbor # 2 has lived here less than three years. I believe the gold car is a rental because she wrecked her white car a few weeks earlier and had to have it towed away. Notice how she's driving on the wrong side of the road @ 1:46, 1:56, & 2:08. Makes you wonder how some people pass their driver's license exams, doesn't it?

Neighbor # 3 has lived here less than two years. Notice how the driver of the car is on the wrong side of the road as she approaches the stop sign @ 2:33 & 2:41 so she can round the corner without having to slow down. She wrecked her car too, or at least put a big dent in it. The driver of the Explorer gave me the finger because I stopped to watch him while I was working outside.

Neighbor # 4 has lived here less than two years at the time of this recording. I told her to stop and her excuse was "We're new to the area." okay... The following morning is what you see in the video. She would continue to run the stop sign unless I would go outside and watch. During the summer, she would stop but now that it is dark again in the morning, she has gone back to her old ways. She's pregnant too, how nice of her to risk the safety of an unborn child by running stop signs... The driver of the Cobalt is her husband. So much for being new to the area.

Notice the lack of breaks and turn signals...

To bad that it takes a accident to make some people to follow the simple rules of the road.

@swedehorn , ten years ago I was involved in an accident in my neighborhood that caused about $4,000 worth of damage to my vehicle. I was hit on the passenger side and was spun around almost half way. My vehicle was no longer driveable and had to be towed from the scene. The idiot that caused the accident ran the stop sign...

@SoCalCoaster521 I plan to e-mail them the link soon if it continues. It's a 3-way stop because another new neighbor decided to use the intersection as a place to park their cars and keep them there overnight and on a daily basis, sometimes all weekend. People would drive around the parked cars at 25-30 miles per hour and could care less about slowing down.

@FockeWulfe66 that's why the stop sign is there... Imagine these people driving even faster (than what you see at 2:19) through the intersection with cars parked in it and no stop signs...

@25shades That's a pretty crappy excuse to run a stop sign. Who cares if its 5am? It's a STOP SIGN you need to STOP at it. I got t-boned a few yrs ago on 910 cause a lady "forgot" to stop at a STOP SIGN.

deer kennywoodjoe this is neighbor number four we are so soory about not stoping my wife goes 2 work at 5am and dosen't always remember to stop at stop sgin that early but she will from now on and i will also when i go 2 work at 9 am thank you and again we are sorry

They definately need to be reported!!! That is really unsafe. This one day in August I was riding my scooter on this street that hardly anyone drives by and then this day all of a sudden some woman came flying down the street didn't want to stop and almost hit me. Needless to say the speed limit is 5 to 10 mph and she was going a lot faster than that.
