The recently departed former American born animator and producer, Jack Dunham (1910-2008) recounts the last time he ever got drunk....The Lakeside Country Club with Humphrey Bogart over 50 years ago. Check out Jack's other videos. He definitely was one of the last of the old school. We miss ya JD.
Re: "everything you see online": I personally filmed & posted all the videos on Youtube of Jack and contacted the journalists who covered a bit of his story before the government locked him up behind glass with his wife in an all French speaking lunatic ward in Montreal so they couldn't ever escape again. Thanks to Kristian G and Mike B for taking the time and heart to write and publish pieces in the papers and online. Thanks for remembering Jack and Dorothy is still alive but kept locked up.

I forgot this accounts password so created JackDunhamRIP2 to comment and help clarify or answer questions regarding the truth about Jack's life. Most of you have been great and appreciate knowing more about him.. This channel is for people that want to know the truth not assume they know anything by looking online. He was a dear friend of mine for years before he passed and everything you see online all started with me or someone I introduced to jack for an interview in the years b4 he passed.

You're clearly a troubled man Mohammad. Don't believe everything you read on the web u silly biscuit. March 15 was the day I first blogged about his death after the public curator called me and informed me he had passed the previous summer in 2008. Also he started working for Disney in 1932, not 1937, then left to work at Universal, then came back to Disney again and worked their until 1947. Sorry you don't know much facts. He was a dear friend of mine and spent hundreds of hrs with him. You?

THANKS for posting! What a story! Fourteen martinis??? And wine on top of that??? Yowzers! No wonder he never got drunk again. He should have stuck to vodka mixed with Milk of Magnesia. That's called a PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER!

I knew Jack personally 25 years ago or so. Jack was drawing Caricatures at a flea market on the South Shore of Montreal. He would take the bus back and forth the 30 minute drive and we'd keep each other company at the market when we weren't busy. Many of the stories I've listened to today, I remember hearing in person. Jack was a wonderful, wonderful man. I think of him often. He was definitely a man worth remembering and it was my honor that at one time, he considered me a friend. X's Jack
