New Gallup poll proves that America is (mostly) NOT an obnoxious, screechy, screamy, rude, racist nation of complete idiots.. idiots like Rep. Joe "the disgrace" Wilson (R - South Carolina). The corporate media likes to kvetch about the death of civility, but maybe we're still okay in the U.S. of A.

KataVideo, this was good to wake up to - that and watching Jimmy Carter affirm what I have said all along: The racist bigots can't handle the fact that there is an intelligent black man in the white house - translation for racists: an uppity Negro sitting in our house. I thought his apology to the pres would be sufficient and that the congress voting a resolution of disapproval was a bit pointless.

That was until I heard him talk to congress...

He NEEDED to apologize. Other reps didn't help his case either. How could THEY say the vote was a political move? Geez, how many topics are they going to be blatantly hypocritical on? Whatever happened to some real people in power and not jackasses?
