I hope Rodriguez actually works for some quality non-conference games like this one right here that would be pretty awesome

No one really beat FSU in the 90's. I think they had 9 loses in 10 years, 3 of those loses coming in National Championships. UM would of probably still of lost even at 100%.
Besides, who knows if FSU was at 100%.

Desmond Howard's catch @ 1:58 wouldv'e been called incomplete in todays game because he used the ground to catch the ball

The best two helmets in college football
Even though I'm a 'Cane, I respect FSU as an opponent & loved watching every minute of this game. Speed kills - even through unkempt long grass on the playing field. D.Howard vs.T-Buck all afternoon was fun to watch. Was funny to look back & see 3rd string QB Charlie Ward line up as a WR, get a pass from Weldon, then throw it back to him. Too bad out of conference match ups like this between big schools don't happen as much.

Also, don't forget that NFL veteran quarterback Brad Johnson was the second string quarterback that year, and was the holder for the field goals and extra points.. FSU was incredibly deep back then..

@emminem17 Weldon was the first string and Ward was second string @ 2:25

@AMorrell14 No... Actually, Weldon was the starter, Brad Johnson was the backup QB, and Charlie Ward was the 3rd string quarterback (and backup punter).
