Four thirty-something New Yorkers with various eating disorders lean on one another for support in this dark and poignant comedy that chronicles their romantic and personal lives. Sam is a neurotic commitment-phobic stock broker recovering from compulsive overeating; Adam is a bulimic NYPD cop; Dan, who works as a writer, is an overweight compulsive-eater; and Billie is an anorexic/bulimic and aspiring singer/songwriter.

@ChaosInAGlassCage Just thought it was unusual. I suffered from BED for 7yrs, and didn't plan any of my binges. Nor are my binges planned now, with ana. I understand the buying certain foods to have to binge on, my freezer used to be stocked with chocolate bars, 'cause they took ages to eat, so by the time I finished one, or two, my emotions had settled.

@tikirose uh yeah...the majority of my binges are planned...the emotional reactions that trigger a binge are the parts that aren't planned...and sometimes neither are binges, you just eat what is in your house, but for alot of people it's more comforting to buy certain foods they are used to binging...sometimes it's for numbing yourself and sometimes it's all about the pain factor...intentionally binging on foods that are painful to purge...
