Diana Ross had, since the 60s, a good friendship with the Japanese audience. In 1973, she was the first entertainer in Japan's history to receive an invitation to the Imperial Palace for a private audience with the Empress Nagako, wife of Emperor Hirohito. This song is taken from the CD " THE FORCE BEHIND THE POWER ", that was, in 1992, PLATINUM record in UK and GOLD record in JAPAN.
In 1991, the single When You Tell Me That You Love Me was # 2 in UK ( where sold over 200.000 copies and became SILVER RECORD ) and # 4 in IRELAND ; in 1992 was # 1 PHILIPPINE, # 6 in HOLLAND, # 16 in BELGIUM and # 28 in POLAND.
In 2005, Diana Ross resinged the song with the WESTLIFE ( the most famous European band ) ; the single reached the # 2 in UK and # 2 in the IRELAND charts.

@nkdillon3 Why is my comment negative, when I dislike boybands??? Boybands are made for girls. And obviously also for a guy like you!!!
PS: You'll find no one in this world, who likes everything!!! Because people are different and you should respect this!!!

@TheReturnOfStephan1 Totally agree! Both are good in their own right. Like Diana, I'm glad you, myself and many others tend to focus on the positives. :)
