der rs4 hab einen halben wagenlänge vohrsprung, es ist kein wunder das der m3 verliert.....aber schaut mal der m3 klebt dem rs4 am arsch, und es ist nur ein 6 zilinder kein v8. audi hat es mit dem rs4 versaut...

Not on track matey!! Csl looks better handles better,sounds better and can go 7.50 round that very famous circuit in Germany!! It wasn't nearly £60,000 for nothing

I think if audi sacrificed some of the luxury in their interiors they could cut out a massive amount of weight....if only this generation of the rs4 was 3-400lbs lighter..

If you know the marvels of modern technology, you would know that weight doesn't matter that much anymore. The M3 and RS4 have very athletic chassis, and their suspensions are perfectly equipped to deal with the weight. The RS4 and M3 can easily outhandle the lighter more nimble Stis and Evos... I've driven both.

you failed! less wieght is the most important thing if you want to have a sports car. thats the reason that a lotus elise beat every m3 on track.

the old m3 csl 360 hp ( my information) ca.1,4 t and the new m3 420hp 1,6-1,7t.
the lower wight is allways better than an heavy car and much power. (on track)

i do no but i think the old csl was way leighter than the e46 csl.
the e46 csl weight about 1260kg, while the regular e46 m3 1470kg.
The new coming csl in 2010 is going to be 470hp(+50) and about 100kg leighter.

you are right with the weight of the m3 csl e46. that car was great.

thats not true, the e92 is much better than csl e46
