SKYRanger - Forgotten airport Orneta

In 2011, the summer flight season begins flight no longer two but ...three (!) machines. In the film, we see SP-SKOM; SP-SMAK; OK-LUA58 on route from the Chrcynno by EPOD (Olsztyn-Dajtki) to Orneta (back by Gryźliny to Chrcynno).
Orneta airport runway equipped with dimensions of 2 000 m x 30 m, 06/24 orientation. Concrete pavement. It has geographic coordinates 54.07 N 20.05 E and lies at an altitude of 53 m above sea level. The airport was built by the Germans. During World War II, occupied by the Russians and operated by them, presumably for 1950. Since 1952 taken over by the Polish Air Force. Closely related to the shelves 29 Fighter Sq. (JW4988). This unit is adapted to accept the airport and aircraft jet-powered fighter in the strength of one regiment. Airport included in class II-b. Presumably, on 01/01/1953 at the airport in Orneta held its first meeting manpower Regiment. The basic fighter plane Regiment became the Lim-1, a trainer-combat SB Lim-1. Approximately 1955. The regiment received a modern Lim-2. Airport ceased operations around 1972. The airport is currently unidentified), are not registered (#ICAO), owned by the Military Property Agency.
