How to: Overclock a Video card

some things to keep in mind before overclocking :
do i have adequate cooling?
do i have adequate power?

in this tutorial i will show you how to properly and safely overclock and test your video card. this will allow maximum performance from your video card without damaging the card. *DISCLAIMER* i am not taking responsibilities for any mishaps or damage done to your GPU(s). please proceed on your own risk as extreme overclocking does degrade the life of your video card for a number of factors. ex. inadequate cooling, overvolting etc..

@laki13ful well! i get say 45FPS in a certain map of crysis 2 @ stock 880MHz 1375MHz 1.175V on my 6970, if i overclock it to 1020Mhz 1445MHz 1.250v i get up to 54 so thats like a 9fps increase pretty good
