IMGT3 Performance is demonstrating the new Jackpoint Jackstand. This revolutionary jackstand utilizes factory jack points located on the vehicle to safely lift and secure the vehicle on it's stand.
Most modern vehicles only have factory lift points around the 4 tires. If you are trying to lift up your vehicle and place a jackstand under the car to support it, you are out of luck. This new jackstand eliminates the need to find questionable or unsafe lift points for your car and allows you to use the vehicles easy to reach lift points.
This is a quick demonstration of a E46 M3 being lifted up on to a Jackpoint Jackstand using the factory lift points. You will notice that this whole process of lifting the vehicle and placing it on the stand takes less than 1 minute to achieve.

It's not a bad idea but it also doesn't have anything over the current conventional jack and jack stand combination. I think manufacturers better specifying safety lift points under the car with some type of stamps would be easier and cheaper for them to abide by. I think it should be a safety regulation of some kind as people can die from improper placement. Happens all the time. I commend you for the effort to build a system but it doesn't benefit over the current one.

@DJDevon3 :
This product is an evolution of what is currently available in the market. With manufacturers limiting safe jacking points (BMW only lists 4, Corvette-4) owners are limited to how they can safely lift up their car and do simple maintenance. More car manufacturers are limiting lift points as well with the addition of under body paneling as a result if the need for higher fuel economy. This stand removes the need to find creative/dangerous means of supporting your car. Safe & easy

@IMGT3LTD:
Also, this stand kit is perfect for owners of modified cars who cannot reach the sub-frame as a jacking point or do not have low profile or high lift range floor jacks

I don't like it because it is much too large and would be too difficult to work around...

@sweetlikeADAM :
The stand base is only 12 inches wide, so it is not much larger than many heavy duty jack stands in the market. One thing to note, Jackpoint Jackstands use factory mount locations, the same spots where cars are supported when on the assembly line.

Inktoxicated, thanks for your comments. The stands are composed of an Almag 535 blend that has been tested to ANSI standards and rated to 4,000 lbs. The brushed finish on the stands shown is an option to our customers- where I am guessing you are getting the impression of the tin foil look. I assure you, this stand is heavy duty and will not have any issues supporting your car and doing so in a safe and secure manner.
