Here is a theory to add to his, if the universe cycles like this forever then that means there will be a loop because the only way you can have an infinite amount of possibilities is if you add to the puzzle. But because there is nothing to add to everything wouldn't that mean that it will loop back again meaning we will one day in the far future have this very discussion about the very same thing? Sounds crazy but imagine rolling trillions of dice on a plot, they will fall the same eventually.
