Hi,

This is the first two legs of an 11 day Solo Cycle Tour of Scotland in the aid of Cancer Research UK completed by me Rennie Milne from Dundee, Scotland. The tour took me through some of Scotland's most wild and remote countryside with spectacular climb's and descents to breathtaking scenery and wild life. On the tour I managed to cover covering around 1100 miles, ascending 12000 meters and burning over 45000 calories. There was allot of work and effort put into making this tour happen both on the training side and in the organisation and preparation.

The main aim of the tour was to do something that I always dreamt of as a young boy, and raise funds for a charity close to mine and my family's heart, Cancer Research UK. They help so many people across the UK, I thought it was time I did my bit to help them help you.

In the video you will see the following:
Day 1, Leg 1 Sunday 10th October 2010 - Dundee to Loch Lomond
Total distance covered - 125 miles
Start to finish time - 10(ish) hours

Day 2, Leg 2 Monday 11th October 2010 - Loch Lomond to Oban
Total distance covered -- 105 miles
Start to finish time -- 8 hours 50 minutes

Hope you enjoy the show, believe me there was enough effort put into to making it..haha!

  • Great video. I just finished a solo weekend trip a month or two ago here in Japan. Many of your pictures (although on a different continent), reminded me of my ride (over here in Japan). Your ride was for a better cause... mine was a lowly long weekend. Hope you were able to raise some funds for an important cause

    Well done!

Check out my little memory video if you have an extra 5 mins. Cheers!
