    Raw Sweet Potato

    Contains a trypsin inhibitor, which can block the digestion of proteins. They also contain cyanide forming compounds.

    Red kidney beans contain a toxin.

    Raw rhubarb could produce death due to toxic anthraquinone glycosides.

    Raw soybeans contain neutralizing agent to vitamin B12 and vitamin D.

  • 3:46 cute dogg and kev...<3 why do some monkeys eat sweet potatos raw? What is edible Raw, What is edible sprouted, what is edible fermented or pickled. what is edibled only heated? better question i find. And are there people who can eat not edible plants and thrive on it.

  • Do you like Tibetean Medicine its more acurate in some parts than ayurv.

  • @TnWormsCastings I agree I grew up on them and sweet potatoes. :) Well raw life in general.

  • eating raw potatoes causes fever..many soldiers in days of old ate raw potatoes to appear too ill to be in combat! cool factoid I thought I would pass on....

    Also most any types of mushroom are better eaten cooked! Some are actually dangerous raw and fine cooked,,so best to be careful here especially with kids.
