Read Patrick J. buchanan`s book `Churchill, Hitler & the Unnessary War`. Churchill he says was a brilliant war leader & orator, but ever questioned him as failed statesman.With his war-mongering bull-headedness, could have finished the war off in 1940, the war cabinet were thinking of negotiated peace with AH but no waited for AH to attack Russia & dec. war on USA. Meanwhile he cuddled up to Stalin, cost us our empire & got us massivly into debt to USA.. All this over Danzig, Poland!!
