My son Grant has spina bifida. He is 2 years old and has just started showing interest in walking. Here is another video of him talking some steps.

  • thank you so much for your comment. What an accomplishment to walk across America!! Way to go. I'm curious what type of bracing and such you've had throughout your life. Also what types of therapies you've done. We do as much as possible for our son and just want to use our time the best way possible. Thanks again and if I were on Facebook I would for sure check your page out. Too little time with 3 little boys under 4. Someday I plan to get a page.

  • God bless him, and he is doing well, i wish him all the best

  • what two sweet boys you have! Great job Grant in your amazing efforts in walking.

I was also born with sb. I am 30 years old and a mom of a second grader!

Doctors didn't think I would walk but I showed them! When my sister who is a year and a half younger started walking , so did I!

You must be so proud Mom!
