@eleonora1782 There are plenty of "real" psychobilly bads if you do your homework, and the Horrorpops aren't supposed to be a psychobilly band, but a band with members into psychobilly.

@eleonora1782 look for guana batz,the ricochets,the stingrays,krewmen,king kurt,the tall boys,frenzy,the legendary raw deal (p paul fenech from the meteors side project),clapham south escalators (meteors side project),the deltas,the vibes...these are just some of the early original psychobilly groups that started it all in the early 80s.....all the new "psycho" is bollox....only new group i like is stressor from russia

This has a real meaning. In 1979 - 1980 we the young of the time (Hep Cats) had a massive national stand off with the Teds with fights happening in all the clubs, which resulted in the youngsters leaving the Rock n roll - Rockabilly scene to form our own that became psycho, and this song is about the young leaving the old scene to join the new Neo, Rocking and psycho scene. The razer resulted in a flat top, quiff and number 1 sides and back.

i just dicovered these guys, and, indeed, i'm in love! I'm obsessed with the Meteors ( OTMAPP!!!!) and the Cramps, and have been looking for more psychobilly- my 2nd favorite genre after punk- and unfortunately there aren't many real psychobilly bands out there. The Horrorpops??? Please! these guys are the real deal- so glad I stumbled upon this!!
