  • I followed your tutorial carefully and triple-checked using Inkscape 0.48 but I got quite a different result. The cloned petals distributed up and to the right in practically a straight line. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

  • @myhumaninterface Make sure that you have both exponents set to 0 (zero) in the "Shift" tab but have both exponents set to 1 (one) in the scale tab. I just tried it in 4.81 Portable, and it worked fine.

  • BRILLIANT, thank you . . . I always wondered about moving the center!

  • Thank you - that worked! I don't know how I missed setting both exponents to 0 in the "Shift" tab, but that was the kicker. Thanks again for your help and great tutorial.

  • TY! Lots of good info!
