For the last time a beautiful aria sung by José Carreras, from the Zarzuela, "El Caserio".
To me it sounds a bit like a sad song but really very beautiful. I don`t claim to have any rights for this than only to share what I find beautiful, thanks

I´d like to make a suggestion to you: listen to Mirentxu, another work from Guridi, this time performed by Ainhoa Arteta. You may find it on youtube, as far as I know. Greetings!

Thanks for the info and yes it`s hard to believe there are such difference

in all you said, that`s why I love the art of making musica and dance, cause it unites people and goes beyond the difference in politics and religion, but we humans are ignorant cause all believe they all are right and the other one is wrong, it goes for ages like that and I think it always will.

It makes me feel sad many times, anyway thanks for the comment

  • Despite all the marked linguistic, cultural and political differences between Basque, Catalonian, and Castilians here is the best example on what Spain is all about;. Jesús Guridi, the composer, Basque. Josep Carreras, the singer, Catalonian. And the language for this aria is Castilian (Spanish). It is hard to believe how much they hate each other when they are making true art together. (Catalonians hate their name spelled "José" instead of Josep)

  • Besos *-*

  • :-)
