There are more and more studies that confirm that laugher is very beneficial for your health. What are the therapeutic effects of laughter therapy on the brain and the body? What is the current research on humour and laughter? Learn about the place of laughter and humour in our history and in our culture. Discover how developing your sense of humour and playfulness enhances your well being.

The speaker will be Florence Vinit (PhD): She is the psychosocial director and a founding member of Dr
Clown in Montreal, a non-profit charitable organization that develops and provides the services of therapeutic artists to hospitalized patients in various Canadian institutions. Florence became interested in the quality of life
of hospitalized patients during her studies in clinical psychology and sociology. Then, her passion drew her to the notion of «therapeutic presence», as well as the power of humour and play in health. In 2007, she published Le toucher qui guérit, entre soin et communication at Éditions Belin.
