In a break from our usual schedule, here's a look at an unreleased N64 title thought lost for many years.
Tommy Thunder was a third person shooter cancelled near the beginning of its development about ten years ago... it since surfaced on the Internet in December 2007, along with a (still encrypted) lost build of Robotron 64. Considering the developer's pedigree - Player 1 Studios churned out Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Blues Brothers 2000 and the infamous Milo's Astro Lanes - how could I resist!?
This is just a one level tech demo, and is clunky at best.. but it's a historical curiosity nonetheless, and just in case someone, somewhere was interested in this gooey mess, here's some 'gameplay' 'footage'. To the rest of you, sorry for wasting YET ANOTHER minute of your life you can't get back.
