  • This is not from the "second" Reagan Mondale debate on October 28, 1984 in Kansas City. Rather, it's from the "first" Reagan Mondale debate on October 7, 1984 in Louisville.

  • I'm not exactly sure how I came to the conclusion that this was the second debate, maybe because of the line" there you go again", was obviously the second time this line was used evidenced by the laughter. What makes you think otherwise?

  • thanks mr president! you were the best!

  • ACORN signing people up for loans? ACORN does not loan money, nor do they approve such loans. By the way, Reagan gave ACORN it's first real funding, and McCain was their convention's key note speaker in 2006, so let's not make ACORN a purely party based issue.

Also, I find it comical that you attempt to frame the modern day Republican party as market regulators that just couldn't stop the free market Democrats from opening everything up to corruption. That is funny.

  • ( I kind of feel like a bad democrat by saying this)" But Mondale wouldn't be able handle the cold war conflict with the Russians"( Just my layman option)

  • @102LBC Yes, and you can run up MASSIVE deficits and still pass yourself off as a fiscal conservative! HAHAHAHA

  • Well, I feel that way, due to Reagan's leadership. He was firm in his beliefs and he never wavered. Though, i'm a democrat, I feel that Ronald was a fine President based on his strength and character. He did boost the moral of America in ways that had been lost. I respected Reagan much more for his quality as a man, than I did for his political views.

  • The State of Minnesota is a great place full of kind and interesting people. The Twin Cities and the University of Minnesota have welcomed my family with kindness and grace. It is truly shameful that this great state's virtual representatives fall so far below the high standard set by the people of Minnesota.

  • Balanced, informative, and well spoken, your response leave no room for criticism, contempt, or grammatical improvement. Well done.

  • I am from Texas and have always been grateful to have found the people from our state to be welcoming and kind.

Texas is a big state and there is room in Texas for all kinds of people, even those who have taken Latin.

  • Mondale rocks, move outta minesota dumb idiot. Try texas or alaska if you want a republican worship.

  • Achtung!!Achtung!!! From here on out, KETCHUP will be considered a vegetable.
