The 6th song from their new EP: An Evolution of the Masquerade

Lyrics:

When will we meet ? 2x
WEARING A MASK made of death and a halo made of gold
Your story washed the womb before it was told
No matter how I promise we will be
No haunting visions to take me away from the love that I have sought

Following your hollow footsteps from this room of white
Tracing the tired sky I vow to seize the night
And sift through every star searching a name and face
Turning every cloud hear me now my blood that you will be found
CARPE NOCTEM !...

Now spread your wings and carry me
Heaven is endless so where could you be ?
Now spread your wings and follow me
Heaven is endless so where could you be ?

As we fly our mother will sing and rejoice when she dies...

This chapter, unforgotten loss will see an end
We will be family in due time
On the road made of gold that the Lord prepared for us
In the end the mask of death that you wear no longer can hide your face and we will fly to our home
When will we meet ?

  • @Seadevilmusic I guess that's just a difference in taste.

I love pretty much all forms of heavy music from old school Death Metal to Deathcore to Djent. It's just annoying when people say ALL deathcore bands have no talent when they hear a band like this, because obviously there are talented deathcore bands.

  • @RyanD253 yeh I'm familiar, I played bass in a thrash band for 9 years, and sing now days in a black/dark metal band. I know they may not be "open e" but stuff these bands do and say a band like Septic Flesh or Origin you can see where the deathcore chords dont hold up as far as complication, doesn't mean its not any good, just saying.

  • @Seadevilmusic How much do you know about theory and time signatures? Because a lot of what bands like Aristeia or Shadow of the Colossus do will go right over your head unless you know your time signatures in particular haha.

  • @RyanD253 None of them impressed me except The Red Shore, I knew about them already. Another "ok" deathcore band I think don't even exist anymore is Despised icon. The rest of it is a hot mess, just strumming and lightning fast drums, and skinny jeans whiny singers. But yes, some of them have talent, I won't deny. These bands get better when they mature out of the kiddie deathcore, look at Job For A Cowboy, WAY better now that they are a real death metal band.

  • @Seadevilmusic Perfect example of deathcore bands that can play their instruments well are bands like The Red Shore, Aristeia (progressive deathcore), Float Face Down, King Conquer, Idols (a local band from my area), Molotov Solution (newer stuff), Shadow of the Colossus, Silence and Those Who Lie Beneath.

Just listen to any of those bands, especially the first two, and tell me if there aren't some deathcore bands with talent. While there is a lot of shitty deathcore bands, there are good ones.

  • @RyanD253 We talk about how easy it is because all we hear from you musically clueless teens is how brutal and hard it is when its not brutal, and its not difficult. Being good at an instrument is not "showing off" it's just being good at your fucking instrument. deathcore is for kids who are easily amused. "some" of these deathcore band guys wil;l become real musicians when they get older and get outta the "scene" music.

  • @Seadevilmusic Why does everyone who talks shit about deathcore talk about how easy it is to play?

Like honestly why the fuck do you care? I didn't say deathcore was difficult, because most of it isn't. It's not about showing off how good you are at your instrument and never has been. And if that's why you play music, to show off, then you shouldn't be playing music at all.

  • im sorry but the whole band looks so awkward haha

  • @RyanD253 Yeh you must be right after all, you know me, and it's not that I haven't been a bass player for 25+ years you little shit. If you think deathcore notes are hard, than it's painfully obvious you can't play. When your balls drop then come "try" debate me.

  • @Seadevilmusic

    >Open E

Shows how much you know about guitar and tunings of most deathcore bands......
