    I agree, this song is beautiful and inspiring and one of my favorites. But it was released in 1993. It wasn't about the 'hysteria' of Y2K.

    This is one of Billy's most beautiful, most moving songs. He wrote it to calm some of the hysteria that surrounded the year 2000. It has a beautiful melody and deep lyrics. My favorite line, one that will stay with me forever, is "Why can't we learn from all we've been through after two thousand years?" It's true. Why can't we learn from whatever we've been through? History keeps repeating itself, but that wouldn't happen if we all just thought about what had went wrong.
