my boyfriend and I used to cuddle to this song all the time....right when Billy Joel sings, "What an amazing future there will be," got one one knee and proposed and we danced for the rest of the song while I just cried on his shoulder =)

I positively adore this song, i could listen to it all day and never get tired of it. its great. Billy Joel is definately one of my favorite artists of all time. Hes classic. <3

I really like this song, too. Even the hokey parts. That's poetry for ya. Considering all the insanity that surrounded the millennium 1999, this song is hopeful and forward looking. Too bad we can't write one for the Mayan calendar 2012 event: we are 512 years. Happy roll over.
