Friendly Rudy

Rudy sits on my arm and chirps at a house finch on the computer. He preens some, and then he starts feeding my thumb. If you look closely while he's sitting on my hand in front of the computer screen, you can see that he has the feathers (and pins because he's going through a minor face molt right now) on his forehead raised up in a very flirty manner.

well how cute is he?!!! Gotta love a bird like that, looks like he is still a baby? I have two and they still havne't warmed up to me quite yet, they'll sit on my shoulder and are increasingly curious by day, but become bored very quickly, or just do not feel completely safe outside of the cage. Gotta love them though!

i have a pet budgie his name is Rio he looks just like Rudy except his zebra pattern reaches his forehead (ps that's my name ^_^ thx for naming him after me lol) i bought him a girlfriend named Tweety that looks just like Simon except she has some black dots on her left wing and a light green stomach they still bite a lot but tweety is stronger (only had them for a day)
