  • holy! the females' huge!

  • Yea she's a big ol girl, and still going stong today

  • are they easy to breed or do you have to take an active role in making it happen?

  • Fairly easy to breed. Most people fail as they use immature specimens. Any tips just ask. It's the raising of the fry thats the hard part!

  • Im from thailand and these guys spawn like crazy here.

If you go to the ponds in the country you can see many of these guys protecting their bubble nets.

  • Maybe she was going through minnow-pause . . .

  • @SuperMac18ROX33 cuz she wasnt ready brooooooo

  • @ollieflp Actually... Betta's are pretty hard to spawn. I say getting them to spawn is harder than caring for fry. In some parts. My pair never spawned. I had to change the female because she just did not want to spawn.

  • For one day straight my male fighter has been chasing the female fighter around the tank the now the female won't even let him go close to the nest and now she's trying to fight him so wat to do?

  • isit true that must saperate the female?

  • Try breeding a HM male with a round tail female ...... VERYYYY pretty when the babies grow up.

  • first become egg .. after, you see the female in the corner of the tank or sitting on the bottom take her out of the tank cuz she'll end up eating it all... sometime the male does it to but rarely.. majority of the time the female is the one. the egg come out the male pick it up release it to the nest... usually 1-2 weeks. move the male once the baby starts swimming or the male might end up eating them to.

  • hw long?

  • later in time, take awhile to, yea .... long process lol
