SCTV: 10/21/76 - Lucille Hitzger (Catherine O'Hara) as an English teacher for beginners. Unfortunately, her first "student" is Pirini Scleroso (Andrea Martin), who drives Ms. Hitzger to the brink of insanity!

Andrea Martin was the funniest woman on sketch TV. I just look at her and laugh. She was amazing. SCTV RULED!

The gag at the end indicates to me this was a sketch they worked on at Second City, Toronto, annd later incorporated into SCTV. I've heard many cast members say they brought characters they developed at Second City to the TV show.

In my opinion, Andrea Martin was the second funniest woman ever on TV. And Catherine O'hara the third. Thank goodness we had SCTV to showcase their comedy.

I remember watching this when I was a kid. John Candy, Eugene Levy, Harold Ramis, etc. This era of SCTV was the funniest shit ever.
