Rehab is a business. Any rehab that rapidly or even decides definitely that all people must be off benzos, should be shut down. Properly used benzodiazepines can be a life saver and at times my be required for lifetime medication management. Any doctor or other charlatan that does not see the benefits of the benzos for some people, should be harshly criticized. Call it what you will; legal addiction if you must; there are patients that do well with long term benzo management.
