The LX is the first in its class to offer an available Wide-view Front and Side Monitor [1] which helps enhance visibility when driving around corners and while parking. Operated at speeds less than 7.5 mph, a camera incorporated into the front grille of the LX helps you see around blind corners, such as when exiting a parking garage, or when maneuvering around a tight corner. A second camera located underneath the passenger side mirror provides a view of the ground next to the vehicle, which makes parking alongside a curb easier. Both views can be displayed simultaneously on the navigation screen when the system is activated.
[1] The Wide-view Front and Side Monitor does not provide a comprehensive view of the front and side areas of the vehicle. You should also look around outside your vehicle, and use your mirrors to confirm clearance. Cold weather will limit effectiveness and view may become cloudy.
