Many players that play on bar can play certain songs on stealth, which means the arrows don't even show up. It's all a matter of opinion, I personally prefer to score as well as I can.

@UglyStru its not impossible but its really hard, since i have to get ALL steps perfect. It doesnt even have to be a "boo" or anything. I played "a love like this" on supernova the other day and got 204 perfects !!! and only 3 great and still only AA (which of course is not bad but not enough for a triple AAA ) but yeh i know exactly what you mean. :)

Pads in my area are the same way. Only it's physically impossible to get AAA's because just when you think you have a nice combo going, you'll get a random "Boo" here and there. It's fuckin ridiculous.
