I dropped my friends new laptop, Hope you got a laugh because Im the one stuck paying for the screen repair!

@RainbowRoan it seemed pretty accidental to me but then again some warranties cover external damage wheras others only cover mechanical failures. Also I wonder what shap the hard drive was in after that happened. MY dad dropped is laptop and they replaced the screen for free but a few weeks later his hard drive died of having a massive amount of bad sectors and clicking noise

I once had a similar laptop. It was a DV6, but it was black. I don't think I ever let anyone touch it... Now, with my 1 month old one, I yell at people that touch it, especially the screen.

My first laptop (which is 4 years old, hp, and still working) was droped by me... it had a dent on the back of it. The screen had a few dents as a result of people touching it... (That's why people never touch my laptops.)

I hope you had on clean underwear after this pathetic accident. Not only does the screen need to be repaired, but the hard disks, the DVD drive, the RAM needs to be reseated, etc...
