Oh, my. This scene made me cry! Goodness. Alan was so incredibly sweet to Emily. I miss the two of them!

Wow. This made me cry. Stuart Damon and Amber Tamblyn are amazing. You can feel the father-daughter love both on screen and off. Sidney the Bear is one of my favorite GH moments/memories of all time. It just makes you want your own Alan Quartermaine in your life. TPTB will forever regret their decision to toss aside a 30 year vet like he meant nothing. Stuart Damon forever! :)

Oh thank you for posting this. I remember this scene. It's one of my favorites. This is how GH is meant to be. It was built around the families. Back in the day they knew how to balance the heart and soul with the action and adventure. I miss scenes like this one, and one's like Monica and Bobbie's pie fight in Cook's kitchen. Alan, I miss him.

Loved this moment. AT and SD were wonderful! Too bad GH isn't investing any creative energy in what's really the heart of any soap (love, family). Instead, they're wasting time on all these mob storylines! Bring back the Quartermaines (I know Em and Alan are "dead," but this is soapland, right? Anything can happen).
Maybe bring back Amber Tamblyn as Emily ?

Loved it. Much better than all the boring mob crap, women tripping all over themselves to fight for Sonny, an egotistical, womanizing, jerk off this soap has been for a long' long time..

God, then scene starting at 3:20 just about killed me. THAT is what's missing on GH now...heart and family connection! The ability to get so caught up in the emotion that you forgetting it's just a tv show. GH hasen't made me cry in years.

Oh, Sidney and REAL Emily *pass the Kleenex please*...
Ahhh, Alan Quartermaine...evey woman should have one.

Great scene!"I remember I dont have a home." This was heartbreakingly sad. Made me cry. She is a really good actress.

yeah Alan was so good to her I know her mother was dying AT was very good and SD is always good
I love this scene but every time I watch it I wonder how Alan tied his Bear tie without moving his hands from the newspaper. LOL With quick hands like that, why did he need Dormand to operate on his hand. ;)
